The main issue was that teenagers and adults assisting others lacked relevant content. Based on this, we expanded the website to include these two target groups and created a target-group-specific help guide.

Safezone is a website that provides mental health information. It is attempting to create a safe space for young people who are going through a difficult life situation and need to be sure that there is a safe place where they will be helped and not harmed. It also helps adults who spend time with someone like that, so-called mentors (e.g., lecturers, parents, teachers, scout leaders, etc.). It gathers reliable and professional information in one place and directs young people to organizations that can assist them.
I identify problem areas, create an information architecture, sketch solutions, and develop wireframes and prototypes. I oversee the entire project, from concept to working prototype, as well as the design process and increasing UX maturity. I collaborate with the product owner as well as web designers and graphic designers.

Our target audiences are children in the second grade (11–14 years old), and newly adolescents (15–19 years old), as well as so-called mentors (e.g., lecturers, parents, teachers, scout leaders, etc.).
Adolescents deal with different topics
than elementary school children, so they need their own information.
Problem 1:
Adolescents do not have information for themselves on Safezone.
Problem 2:
Adolescents cannot easily access their information after it has been added.
